FAQ

How many endings are in Red Chat Ritual?
Steam lists nine ending achievements named End 1 through End 8 plus End 404, verified on the community achievements page on 2026-10-24. A separate meta achievement, All Endings Completed, unlocks after viewing every ending.
Can I get every ending on one playthrough?
Independent community ending guides (Guidexon and the Steam guide Barebone all endings guide) report that End 3 and End 5 need a separate run without main-route key gifts, while End 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 404 can be reached on a main-route file with saves and branches. This wiki has not independently replayed those routes.
Which endings count toward All Endings Completed?
The All Endings Completed achievement description states you viewed all endings. The nine End N achievements (including End 404) are the ending set reflected on Steam as of 2026-10-24.
Is End 404 a secret true ending?
No official source describes End 404 as a true or canonical ending. Steam only publishes the achievement name and flavor text. Community guides tie it to failing the final Chapter 3 deduction; see the End 404 page for sources.
Why do End 6 and End 7 not trigger right away?
GamePretty and Guidexon's walkthrough both report that after the relevant Mega Chat choice you must finish the stream, sleep, and receive the ending on waking. Details are on the End 6 and End 7 pages.

How many endings does Red Chat Ritual have?

Nine. The Steam achievements page for app 4413070 lists nine ending-linked trophies whose names run End 1 through End 8, plus End 404. Each uses the visible (non-hidden) achievement format in the HTML captured on 2026-10-24. A tenth completionist trophy, All Endings Completed, unlocks after you have viewed every ending; it is not itself an ending outcome.

The game is marketed as a 15-day investigation-and-stream adventure with multiple endings (Steam store page). In-game UI may label outcomes differently, but the wiki uses Steam achievement names because they are the only official public list of ending IDs.

What are the official End 1–End 404 achievement names?

You can match in-game results to trophies by name. Do not read the spoiler block below if you want zero story hints; the descriptions quote Steam verbatim and summarize violent or tragic outcomes.

How do players usually split routes for all endings?

Community ending guides agree on a two-route mental model, even though the Steam store never names “main route” or “crystal radio route.”

Two-column diagram listing endings reachable on one main-route playthrough with saves versus endings that need a separate run without main-route key gifts.

Main-route run with saves and branches. Guidexon’s all-endings article and the Steam community guide Barebone all endings guide (independent authors) both state that a single main-route playthrough can reach End 1, End 2, End 4, End 6, End 7, End 8, and End 404 if you use saves to branch Mega Chat and deduction outcomes. Neither source is official; treat the list as community-reported.

Separate run for End 3 and End 5. The same two guides report that End 3 and End 5 need another playthrough without main-route key gifts such as the potato gun, stun gun, and soundproofing, following a crystal radio / audio-only style path instead. The official FAQ for When You Get Stuck mentions Chapter 1 gift timing (FAQ21) but does not publish a full ending route map.

This wiki does not publish step-by-step checklists for End 1, End 2, End 3, or End 5 beyond the route split above, because no two independent sources verified distinct final-choice text for each on 2026-10-24.

Which endings have verified community triggers?

The table below lists only triggers with at least two independent community sources in the evidence pass, or official achievement text. Single-source day lists are omitted here.

Ending What evidence supports Where to read more
End 4 A single swapped entry at the final (Chapter 3) deduction, with the other answers mostly correct — Guidexon all-endings + Treyexgaming walkthrough/endings Folded below; no dedicated wiki page yet
End 6 Stream 2 (Day 2) Mega Chat fork (wording varies); settles after sleep /endings/ending-6/
End 7 Stream 10 (Day 10) Mega Chat fork; settles after sleep /endings/ending-7/
End 8 Deduction fail — sources disagree on Chapter 1 vs Chapter 2 /endings/ending-8/
End 404 Fail final Chapter 3 deduction with wrong or random answers /endings/ending-404/
Show spoiler: option and answer labels behind these triggers (community wording)
  • End 4: guides name choosing Fanatical father instead of Fanatical mother at the final deduction while the other entries stay mostly correct.
  • End 6: the Stream 2 option is a love-reached-type line; exact wording differs between guides (see /endings/ending-6/).
  • End 7: the Stream 10 choice is calling the police instead of hiding (see /endings/ending-7/).

End 4 is included because two independent sites (Guidexon endings + Treyexgaming) match on the swapped entry at the final deduction. Keep a save before any deduction; the official FAQ and Play Guide both recommend saving before streams, and deduction branches are easier to retry from a home-screen save (FAQ EN).

Sources and verification

Community-reported route and trigger items are not independently tested by this wiki; wishlists, Mega Chats, and investigation files can differ by route per official FAQ13.
